The petitioner's validation proceeding has been pending with the respondent - Scrutiny Committee since 08.03.2022. He is anxious to get it decided expeditiously being in the employment with the respondent No.3.

The learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the Committee would decide the petitioner's proposal within sixteen (16) weeks.

In the light of the fact that few of the petitioner's blood relatives have been held entitled to have certificates of validity by the orders of this Court, we dispose of the writ petition directing the respondent No.2 - Committee to decide the petitioner's proposal, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case within eight (08) weeks. 5.
No adverse action shall be initiated against the petitioner for a period of ten (10) weeks.
