(Order) (2) W.P. No. 13719 of 2017 ORAL ORDER :

The objection raised by the petitioner, as regards incorporation of names of certain categories of persons in the voters' list, has been turned down by the Returning Officer, which action is objected in this petition.

On perusal of the objection application tendered by the petitioner on 31.10.2017, it is evident that the objection does not relate to any name of the proposed voter enlisted in the voters' list. The objection is too vague and it is difficult to identify any individual against whom the objection can be attributed. We do not find that the Returning Officer has committed any error in overturning the objection.

No interference is called for in exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petition is devoid of any substance and it is accordingly dismissed.
