The petitioner is coming with the following prayers : "A] To grant rule and allow this Writ Petition.

B] To quash and set aside the resolution No. 2 dated 03/11/2016 passed by the Grampanchayat, Vartala, Tq. Mukhed, Dist. Nanded to the extent of giving appointment as a pump operator to the respondent No. 5 at village Shelkewadi of Group Grampanchayat, Vartala, by issuing appropriate writ, order, directions as the case may be. C] To hold and declare that the petitioner has right to hold the post of pump operator and he is entitled to take the online salary instead of Respondent No. 4, by issuing appropriate writ, order, directions as the case may be.

D] To hold and declare that the appointment of respondent No. 4 is bogus and illegal for the post of pump operator, by issuing appropriate writ, order, directions as the case may be. E] To direct the Respondents to insert the name of petitioner in online procedure for payment of his salary pending hearing and final disposal of this writ petition.

F] Ad-interim relief in prayer clause "E" may kindly be granted in the interest of justice."

We have heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. 3.

It is ex facie evident that the petitioner is questioning the 1/2

936.WP.653.25.odt appointment of respondent No.5 after lapse of 9 years and is seeking appointment against the same post for allegedly having worked there, for 9 years prior to 2016.

The petition suffers from gross delay and laches and is dismissed.
