Learned counsel for petitioners refers to that the purpose underlying petition, in view of subsequent developments, has been rendered infructuous. He, therefore, seeks continuation of protection granted by this court for a period of 15 days in order to enable him to approach the revisional authority.

In the circumstances, petition is disposed of as infructuous.

Protection to petitioners continue for a period of fortnight. However, it is made clear that, the protection is extended only for aforesaid limited period and would be no indication on merits of the matter.
