The petitioner is merely seeking a direction to the officers under the charity organization for expeditious decision of change report under Section 22 of the Maharashtra Public Trust Act. 3.

Needless to state that there is a statutory time limit of three months for taking a decision in a contested change report inquiry. We dispose of the writ petition by requesting the concerned Assistant Charity Commissioner/Deputy Charity Commissioner to expeditiously decide the Change Report No.1747/2019 and pass appropriate order as early as possible and in any event within six months.
