Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. With the consent of parties taken up for final hearing at the stage of admission. 3.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is challenging impugned order dated 18.11.2025 passed by Respondent No.2-Committee by which the caste claim of the petitioner belonging to 'Thakur', Scheduled Tribe has been invalidated.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that considering the entire material placed on record before Respondent No.2Committee, the step brother and step sister of the petitioner has been granted conditional validity by this Court by order dated 16.01.2024 in Writ Petition No.2795 of 2024 and order dated 23.07.2025 in Writ Petition No.8832 of 2025 respectively, therefore the petitioner deserves to be granted conditional validity.

Learned AGP on the other hand submits that though Respondent No.2-Committee has found certain interpolation in the record, however since Respondent No.2-Committee has not disputed the relationship of the petitioner with the step brother and step sister of the petitioner therefore he submits that appropriate order may be passed. 6.

Considering the above, since this Court has already granted conditional validity to the step brother and step sister of the petitioner, we follow the same suit. Hence the following order :- :: ORDER ::

i.

The Writ Petition stands allowed.

ii.

The impugned order dated 18.11.2025 passed by Respondent No.2-Committee is hereby set aside.

iii.

Respondent No.2-Committee is directed to issue caste validity certificate to the petitioner of belonging to 'Thakur', Scheduled Tribe, which shall be subject to the final outcome of the matters which Respondent No.2-Committee has decided to re-open. iv.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Rule is made absolute in above terms.
