We have heard Mr. Yeramwar, the learned counsel for the petitioner. The petitioner is assailing the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal rejecting the original application seeking appointment on compassionate ground. The name of the petitioner was deleted from the wait list of the candidates to be appointed on compassionate ground.

The learned A.G.P. has placed on record the communication received by her from the Superintendent of Police, Nanded to the effect that earlier letter dated 26.04.2016 cancelling the name of the petitioner from the wait list of the persons to be appointed on

2 107-WP14446-19.odt compassionate ground is cancelled and his name is again included in the wait list of the candidates to be appointed on compassionate ground.

In the light of that, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The impugned order of the Tribunal, as such does not subsist. 4.
