The learned AGP, who has suffered a personal bereavement, submits that he could not file the affidavit-in-reply on behalf of the Education Officer. Nevertheless, he places before us a compilation of 05 documents including the communication dated 31-08-2021 (two pages) addressed to the Deputy Director of Education, Aurangabad setting forth the amounts of delayed sanction of grants / arrears. Page - 1 is the communication dated 18-10-2021 addressed by the Deputy Director of Education, Aurangabad to the Director of Education, Pune seeking sanction to clear the amount of Rs.62,32,664/- with regard to the ggp

- 2 - arrears of payments to be made to the petitioner as well as Shri. S.T. Kadam. The said compilation is taken on record and collectively marked as 'X-1' for identification. The learned AGP adds that in around four weeks time, the grievance of the petitioner will be fully redressed.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that the petitioner is satisfied.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with the observation that the grievance of the petitioner would be redressed on or before 31-12-2021.
