The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to correct his mother's name in school record. It is not possible to give such direction in exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 03.

With liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum seeking declaration that his mother is 'Alkabai' and not 'Rukhmini', the Writ Petition is disposed of.
