This petition challenges the judgment and order dated 17.10.2016 passed by the District Judge-5 and Additional Sessions Judge, Ahmednagar in Criminal Appeal No. 55 of 2016. In the said appeal the order passed by the learned J.M.F.C. below Exh. 20 in Criminal M.A.No.119 of 2014 was impugned.

The respondent No. 2 herein had filed the aforesaid Criminal M.A. No. 119 of 2014 under the provisions of Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act for various reliefs. By an application Exh. 20 an objection was taken by the petitioner to the maintainability of the proceedings on the ground of limitation. The

20criwp1634.16 said application was rejected and against that an appeal was carried, which came to be dismissed by the impugned Judgment and order. During the pendency of present petition, the learned J.M.F.C. has decided Criminal M.A. No. 119 of 2014.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is dismissed.
