This is an application filed by the Maharashtra State Judges Association through it's President.

The learned Advocate for the Applicant submits on instructions that, the request to replace the learned Principal District Judge or the learned District Judge-1 by nominating the

(2) Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, is being withdrawn. As such, prayer clause (C) stands deleted from the Civil Application.

Insofar as time for completion of inspection work of the Schools, a request is made that time be extended by two months.

Considering the object for which the Committee has been formed and in the larger interests of the Students coming from humble backgrounds, we are entertaining this request and extending the time upto 31/01/2024.

With the above direction, this Civil Application is disposed off.

SUO MOTO PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION No. 01/2018 6.

We permit the learned Advocate for the Petitioner in SMPIL to request the learned Registrar(Judicial) of this Bench, to allow her to inspect the reports being tendered by the various District Committees to the High Court. We permit her to make an application for receiving photostat copies of the said reports in

(3) order to enable her to address the Court with the assistance of such reports. Copies of these reports would be supplied to the learned Advocate for the PIL Petitioner, free of cost. 7.

We permit the learned Advocate, to address us on the subject matter by tendering suggestions that she may desire in the light of the said reports.

Considering the above, list this Suo Moto Public Interest Litigation on 21/12/2023.
