The present application is filed for quashing the criminal case bearing R. T. C. No. 261 of 2013 pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shrigonda, for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code. The respondent No. 2 has filed the affidavit stating that, the divorce proceedings were filed by the respondent No. 2 which has been mutually settled and she has received an amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Rs. Five Lacs Only) from the applicant No. 1 towards the settlement. She does not want to prosecute the complaint. The respondent No. 2 is present before the Court. She is identified by her advocate Mr. Shirsath. She admits the contents of the affidavit. In view of the fact that, the matter has been amicably settled between the

The R. T. C. No. 261 of 2013 pursuant to F. I. R. vide CR No. 189 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 323, 504, 506 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code pending with the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shrigonda is quashed and set aside.
