PER COURT :- 1.

The case of the petitioners is that possession of their land was taken in 2005/2007 for execution of irrigation project, for which till this date neither the acquisition proceedings is taken out, nor compensation is paid by way of private negotiations. 2.

As far as aforesaid claim is concerned, the same is not substantiated by producing any documentary evidence on record. 3.

In view of above, we are not inclined to draw indulgence, particularly when the claim is brought before the Court at much belated stage.

Petitions are accordingly disposed off. However, it shall be open for the petitioners to pursue their claim based on the alleged documents of not only ownership but also initiation of proceedings for acquisition by negotiations at an earlier stage as has been claimed in the petition.
