If the Respondents are delaying the

wp119.16 enquiry and not taking it to the logical end inspite of the directions given by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, within six months, and if the Petitioner is entitled for further promotion on higher post, the pendency of the enquiry shall not be construed as an impediment for granting him promotion to the higher post, if otherwise he is eligible for the same.

Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that by efflux of time the purpose of filing this Petition has been served. Hence the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

In view of the order passed in Writ Petition, the Civil Application No.1510 of 2018 also stands disposed of.
