VERSUS
STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ORS ...

------ CORAM : S.V.GANGAPURWALA & AVINASH G.GHAROTE,JJ.
DATED : 29 th November,2019.
PER COURT:- 1.
The writ petition was dismissed as the petitioner was consistently absent. The matter was called our for final hearing six times and on those six occasions, none appeared for the petitioner. Eventually, on 7th occasion, it was dismissed. 2.
We do not find convincing reasons for restoration of the writ petition.
However, considering that the matter pertains to a social status of the petitioner, we are inclined to grant one more opportunity to the petitioner. However, the petitioner also deserves to be saddled with costs.
3.
In the light of the above, the civil
(2) application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (A) on a condition that the applicant deposits costs of Rs.6,000/- within a period of four weeks from today. CA disposed of.
