Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGP for the State. The limited grievance raised in this petition is that though the petitioner filed applications on 23rd June, 2014 and 24th November, 2015 with the respondent No.1, the said respondent has not decided the said applications till date.

2] Since there is an innocuous prayer, we direct the respondents to decide the said application, if already not decided, on its own merits, in accordance with the procedure, as expeditiously as possible, however, preferably within 4 months from today. Before the said applications are decided, the respondent No.1 shall afford reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
