The petitioner is claiming increment earned by him in the last year before he was superannuated, in the light of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of The Director (Admn and HR) KPTCL and others Vs. C. P. Mundinamani and others, [AIR 2023 SC 1956].

The petitioner having superannuated on 30/06/2023, having earned an increment for serving during the year before superannuation, he is entitled to claim an increment. 3.

The writ petition is allowed. The respondents shall calculate the arrears and disburse the same to the petitioner.
