Petitioner's application for correction of the school record, has been turned down by respondent No.2- Education Officer only on the ground that the petitioner has left the school. 2.

The issue is no longer res integra in view of the judgment of Full Bench of this Court in the case of Janabai Himmatrao Thakur vs State of Maharashtra and others reported in (2019) 6 Mah.L.J.769.

In view of the same, we set aside the order impugned herein and direct respondent No.2 to pass the order on hearing the petitioner and school management as well, on its own merit even uninfluenced by this order, within a period of four months from receipt of copy of this order.
