We have heard learned advocate for the petitioner, learned APP and even learned advocate Mr. Z.H. Farooqui, who has filed application for intervention.

In criminal writ petition no. 1934/2019 by the order dated 12 February 2020 the petitioner herein was permitted to appear before Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar on 11 March 2020 and it was further directed to the Police to undertake an inquiry and if necessary to record his statement and take further action on the basis of that statement. Following was the order :- "2.

As the learned counsel for Petitioner submits that the Petitioner will go to Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar on 11th March, 2020, the police are expected to make inquiry and if necessary record his statement and take further action on the basis of the

statement. Keep the present matter before this Court on 17th March, 2020."

The petitioner submits that due to unavoidable reasons, he could not appear before the concerned Kotwali police station on the stipulated day, but later on he submitted a representation dated 28.11.2022 (Exhibit-E), expressing his readiness to appear before the authorities and to consider it.

Learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would now appear before the concerned Kotwali Police Station, Ahmednagar on 10.04.2023. 5.

We dispose of the writ petition directing the respondents to comply with the order of this Court in criminal writ petition no.1934/2019 dated 12 February 2020 when the petitioner would appear before the Kotwali Police Station on 10.04.2023. 6.

Criminal Application No.632 of 2023 seeking intervention is also disposed of.
