The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an appeal before respondent No.2 in December 2017, however, as yet, no decision has been taken by respondent No.2.

In case, appeal is filed by the petitioner and the same is pending with respondent No.2 regarding promotion to the post of

2 W.P. No. 14349/2019 Extension Officer, then respondent No.2 shall take decision upon it on its own merits, in accordance with law, preferably within four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before respondent No.2 on 5th December, 2019. 3.
