An affidavit-in-reply has been presented on behalf of respondents no.4 & 5 wherein it has been stated that an inquiry was initiated against the erring Gram Sevak and the report of inquiry has also been received. It is further informed that a final show cause notice calling upon the erring official to show cause as to why the punishment, as proposed in the notice dated 10.08.2017 shall not be imposed, has been issued. The delinquent has been called upon to submit his reply within ten days from the date of the notice. It is further informed that after receipt of reply from the delinquent, appropriate action, as permissible in law, would be taken.

In view of the facts and circumstances of this case, we dispose of the petition with a direction to Respondent - Chief
