On perusal of paragraph no. 14 of the affidavit-in-reply, it transpires that respondent no. 1 has not taken any decision in respect of release of grant for the year 2013-2014 and 2014-2015. It would be open for the respondents to take appropriate decision in that regard in accordance with the policy framed by the Central Government for the said purpose. Writ petition therefore stands disposed of with directions to respondent no. 1 to take appropriate decision in the matter in observance of the relevant procedure and in accordance with the scheme formulated in that behalf, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today and, it is accordingly directed.
