The present application is filed by the wife seeking transfer of the divorce petition filed under section 13(1) of the Hindu Marriage Act bearing no. A-125/2023 pending before the Family Court, Solapur to Family Court, Jalna.

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is married with the respondent on 28.04.2018 at Solapur. On account of family dispute, the applicant is residing with her parents at Jalna which is about 300 Kms. away from Solapur. The learned counsel submits that the respondent is a police officer. She is in temporary teaching service at Jalna.

The notice in the matter is served on the respondent through his brother on the address given in the divorce petition filed at Solapur. The same is served on the brother on 01.12.2023. 5.

The learned counsel further submits that the applicant has a daughter of 4 years and that it would be inconvenient and difficult for her to travel to Solapur.

In view of the grounds raised, the petition bearing no. A-125/2023, pending before the Family Court, Solapur is transferred to the Family Court, Jalna.
