The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners are seeking payment of compensation as per the award passed on 22.07.2016.

Though the respondent No. 3 is served, none appears for the respondent No. 3.

The grievance of the petitioners is that, more than three years have lapsed from the date of passing award, however, amount of compensation as per the award is not paid. 4.

In case, there is no other impediment and the award is

2 wp 3242.19 passed on 22.07.2016 in respect of the land of the petitioners and grievance of petitioners still subsists, then the respondents shall make the payment to the petitioners as per the said award expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from today.
