The Petitioner was running a stone crusher business which is shut down in 2018. A substantive appeal is pending before Respondent No.2. An application for interim protection against the recovery is also filed.

In view of the above, this Petition is disposed off with the following directions:

(A) The Petitioner, either in person or through a legal representative, would appear before Respondent No.2 at 12.00 noon on 16th November, 2023.

(C) After hearing the parties, the second Respondent/ Authority would pass an appropriate order on the interim application by 06.00 PM on 16.11.2023. (D) The Revenue Authorities will bear in mind the Government Resolution issued by the State Government dated 18/01/2022, by which the Authorities are precluded from initiating coercive steps/precipitative action during the statutory appeal period.
