Learned PP is producing further progress report in respect of investigation. It is taken on record by marking Exh. 'X'. It appears that all the necessary things have been made. There is addition of sections in view of further progress of investigation. Samples have been sent for DNA and it appears that proposal for compensation has also been suggested through District Legal Services Authority, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. As regards the inquiry that was referred earlier is concerned, it is stated that in view of transfer of the earlier inquiry officer it has been handed over to DCP (Home).

24_Cri.WP_2037_2024 We hope that he completes it within a reasonable period and taking into consideration the report the Commissioner of Police, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar would take appropriate action, if necessary. We dispose of Criminal Writ Petition in view of the fact that the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. Only fact which the Investigating Officer to bear in mind that, if necessary, she may suggest or give appropriate medical assistance to the prosecutrix in view of guidelines by the State Government issued, if any, for the child to take assistance of expert etc. in view of Section 39 of the POCSO Act and give the medical treatment, if necessary, accordingly.
