Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner who is a student prosecuting his studies, is approaching this Court with a limited prayer an application was submitted to respondent No.2-Sub Divisional Officer/ Competent Authority, Osmanabad for issuance of caste certificate in favour of the petitioner. Alongwith the application various documents are submitted to submit that the petitioner belongs to 'Koli Mahadev' Tribe. The application is pending before the Competent Authority. The petitioner approached the Competent Authority by way of reminder/ representation dated 30.10.2018. It is submitted in the representation that the petitioner could not prosecute his studies for one year due to non availability of the caste certificate. As such the authority was requested to issue caste certificate expeditiously.

Considering the above referred facts the

( 2 ) wp1439.19 petition can be disposed of with directions to respondent No.2 to take decision on the application of the petitioner for issuance of Tribe certificate as early as possible and not later than six weeks from the date of order of this Court.

With these above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
