Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

Application was filed without properly explaining delay. On that count, petition ought to have been dismissed, but we have shown leniency and allowed to amend the application. However, only a prayer is added to condone the delay. 3.

The reason mentioned in the application is absurd and unconvincing. It is not expected from the senior counsel to write such flimsy explanation. The reason is not digestible and it can't be said that it was beyond the control of the counsel. 1 of

It seems to be a very casual approach in filing a such application, but once again we have to think about the litigant who is unaware of the procedure and he should not be punished for the faults of the lawyers. Hence, to protect his interest, we allow this application by condoning the delay. 5.

The petition be restored to its original position on condition that spare copies should be supplied forthwith, within a week. If copies are supplied, notice be issued to the respondent, returnable on 03.04.2025 in Writ Petition No. 10506 of 2024.
