The petitioner is aggrieved by the interlocutory order passed by the District Collector, Latur dated 13/11/2019, by which he has recorded in the Roznama that during the pendency of the review application filed by respondent No.3, status-quo be maintained by the parties.

Grievance of the petitioner is that a review application is not maintainable against the order passed by the District Collector, Latur dated 15/06/2019 Under the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961.

Though the learned Advocate for the petitioner has strenuously khs/Dec.2019/14467-d

- 2 - canvassed the points formulated in the memo of the petition, I find that it would be appropriate to dispose off this petition and permit the petitioner to file a detailed written say alongwith all objections before the District Collector, Latur on the next date of hearing scheduled on 10/12/2019 and with further directions to the said Authority to decide the proceedings expeditiously. 4.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 5.

The petitioner shall enter his written say with all objections and tender the same before the District Collector on 10/12/2019. After giving an opportunity of filing a counter say to respondent No.3, and upon hearing all the parties, the District Collector would pass a reasoned order and shall decide the objections as regards jurisdiction and maintainability, on or before 10/01/2020.
