The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the application has been given for correction of house numbers to the Deputy Director of Land Records. The mistake had occurred at the time of consolidation.

In case, application is filed by the petitioner and same is pending with the Deputy Director of Land Records (page no. 11 & 17), then Deputy Director of Land Records may consider the said application on its own merits. The Deputy Director of Land Records shall also consider the aspect of limitation and may pass orders after hearing all parties concerned expeditiously. The decision may be taken preferably within a period of nine (9) months from today.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
