In all these writ petitions, the grievance raised is that the caste
3 922,923,925 TO 927,929,931,932.doc certificates issued to the petitioners of belonging to Koli- Mahadev Scheduled Tribe were tried to be submitted before the Caste Scrutiny Committee for its verification. However, the Caste Scrutiny Committee have insisted that the petitioners should submit the caste certificates in Form "C" postulated under the Maharashtra Act No.XXIII of 2001. The petitioners accordingly have requested the respondent/Sub Divisional Officer, Majalgaon, District Beed to issue the caste certificates in Form "C"as contemplated under the Maharashtra Act No. XXIII of 2001. However, the same has not been issued and, therefore, these writ petitions.

After hearing the parties, we are of the considered view that the prayers made in the writ petitions are reasonable and capable of being granted. Therefore, we pass the following order:
ORDER
(i) The respondent/Sub Divisional Officer, Majalgaon, District Beed is directed to decide the applications of the petitioners within a period of one month from today and the petitioners to approach the Respondent/S.D.O on 17.12.2025. The petitioners to surrender the original tribe certificate which is in incorrect form.
(ii) We also make it clear that, if the earlier caste certificates of the petitioners are surrendered before the respondent/Sub-Divisional Officer,
4 922,923,925 TO 927,929,931,932.doc before issuing corrected tribe certificates in Form "C" he should also test the genuineness of issuance of earlier caste certificates.
(iii) Writ Petitions stand disposed of.
