Mr. Patil, learned counsel for petitioners submits that application is made by petitioners for grant of rental compensation to the Special Land Acquisition Officer and the Collector (Exhibit-D, Page-38), however, the same is not yet decided. 2.

We have heard the learned A.G.P. and Mr.

Chillarge, learned counsel for the Acquiring Body. 3.

In case, the application of the petitioner (Exhibit-D, Page-38) is pending with the competent authority, then the competent authority shall take decision upon it with regard to the payment of rental compensation on its own merits, in

(2) 88-wp-6435-2018 accordance with law and policy, after hearing all parties concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of appearance of the parties. Parties shall appear before the Acquiring Body on 14.03.2019.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
