This is the Application for Suspension of substantive Sentence. 2.

Heard both the sides.

The Sentence awarded by the learned Trial Court is that of Rigorous Imprisonment for two years and fine of Rs.5000/-, in default to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for three months for the offence punishable under Sections 7 and 13 (1)(d) read with Section 13 (2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The learned Trial Court has suspended the sentence till the Appeal period. This Court on previous date had extended the said order. The Appeal is recently admitted and it would take time for final hearing. Hence, the Application for Suspension of Sentence is allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'. 4.

The Applicant - Appellant shall furnish fresh Bonds / Sureties, in the same terms and conditions as ordered by the learned Trial Court. 5.

The Application stands disposed off.
