The petitioner belongs to Chambhar, scheduled caste. Caste Validity Certificate issued to the petitioner is also of Scheduled caste. 2.

In the petition also, it is contended that the post of the Sarpanch is reserved for Scheduled Tribe. The grievance of the petitioner is that her nomination form is not accepted.

When the post of Sarpanch is reserved for a candidate belonging to Scheduled Tribe and as the petitioner belongs to Scheduled Caste, naturally, nomination of the petitioner cannot be accepted for the post reserved for Scheduled Tribe.
