The petitioner's claim for appointment on compassionate groundis rejected. Mr. Talhar, learned counsel submits that father of the petitioner died in the year 1999. Mother of the petitioner applied for appointment on compassionate ground. Claim of mother of the petitioner was not considered. Mother of the petitioner died in the year 2008. Brother of the petitioner is mentally retarded. The petitioner obtained guardianship certificate and thereafter in the year 2014 applied seeking appointment on compassionate ground. The petitioner also worked on ad hoc basis for some period. However, subsequently the proposal is rejected only on the ground that there was delay in submission of the proposal. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is unemployed. 2.

We have considered the submissions.

Father of the petitioner died in the year 1999. The purpose of compassionate appointment would not survive after 22 years. The petitioner also applied for the first time in the year 2014, after lapse of 15 years .

4. The petitioner is a married daughter of deceased. The petitioner also has not spelled out income of her husband with whom she resides. The very purpose of compassionate appointment would not survive after a long slumber of 22 years.
