Leave to add the 'Project Director, National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)' as Respondent No.4. Addition be carried out forthwith.

The amount of compensation under the provisions of the National Highways Act, 1956 (the said Act) has already been paid to Respondent No.2, on the basis of an undertaking. The Petitioner prays that the dispute raised by him should be referred under Section 3H(4) of the said Act to the Principal Civil Court of original jurisdiction.

Issue notice to the Respondents, returnable on 06/02/2024. The learned Standing Counsel for the Union of India waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No.1. The learned A.G.P. waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No.3. The learned Advocate Shri. Urgunde waives service of notice on behalf of Respondent No.4.
