The learned counsel for petitioners states that after filing of the present Writ Petitions, the Government has passed an order on 5.1.2017, directing reinstatement of 1185 Special Teachers and 72 Parichars. The petitioners in these Writ Petitions are covered under 1185 Special Teachers. The learned counsel submits that the grievance with regard to non-payment of the salary still remains.
The petitioners are working since the year 2009 and as per the order issued on 5.1.2017, arrears of salary are directed to be paid from July 2015 to March 2016. No provision is made for payment of salary from 2009 onwards.

The major grievance of the petitioners stands redressed in view of the order dated 5.1.2017 passed by the State. As far as payment of arrears of salary is concerned, the petitioners may approach the Director of Education (Primary), Maharashtra State, Pune by making a representation. In case such representation is made, the Director of Education (Primary) - Respondent No.3 shall take decision upon the same expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months from the date of receipt of the representation. 4.
In case the grievance of the petitioners is not redressed, liberty to the petitioners to move afresh.

The Writ Petitions are disposed of with aforesaid observations. No costs.
