This petition is pending since 2019. No interim relief is granted. The order under challenge is only rejection of the application seeking police protection by the decree holder in Regular Darkhast. Though notice was issued in 2019, the mater did not appear thereafter for a considerable time. By order dated 14th August 2025, this court recorded that none appeared for the petitioner and respondent though the matter was called twice on that day. It was made clear that if none appears on the next date, appropriate order would be passed, and the matter was adjourned for four weeks. On 11th September 2019, the matter could not

Today, when the matter is called out, none appears for the petitioner and none appears for the respondent. This Court finds that petition may have become infructuous and that the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting it. Be that as it may, this Court has no option but to dismiss the petition for want of prosecution. 3.

Petition stands dismissed.
