It is a habeas corpus petition. The petitioner claims to have married the girl - "X" (identity withheld). Notice was issued in the matter. Police found the missing girl (X) at the house of her father. Ms. Bhagyashree Shinde, PSI, CIDCO Police Station, Aurangabad brought her before us. The petitioner is also before us.

The girl (X) informs to have married with the petitioner in a temple and was residing with him as his wife for about one and half month. She was separated by her parents. According to her, both, the petitioner and herself are the classmates of 2nd year of Five Years LL.B. course. 3.

Date of birth of the girl (X) is 14th November, 2004. As such, she is about nineteen years of age, a major. She is competent to take decision of 1 / 2

902-WP-1700-23.odt her own well being. She expressed her desire to join the petitioner and cohabit with him as his wife. In view of her own desire, we set her free to her own discretion.

It is informed that father of the girl (X) is behind the bars on account of F.I.R. lodged by the petitioner. The petitioner makes a statement that in bail matter he would give consent to grant bail to father of the girl (X). 5.
