Mr. Chavan, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner as belonging to "Garudi" caste is pending with respondent No.3 Committee since 21st November, 2016. The learned counsel submits that directions be given to decide the same expeditiously. 2.

Mr. Gujrati, the learned AGP submits that in case proposal of the petitioner is pending, the same would be decided on its own merits.

The Respondent No.3 Committee shall decide the validation proceeding in respect of caste claim of the petitioner pending with it, on its own merit and in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within 9 months.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
