The challenge in this petition is to the show-cause-notice issued under Section 56 of the Maharashtra Police Act. It is informed that the petitioner had even appeared before the authority concerned and made his submissions (showed cause as to why no externment action should be taken against him). We find it to be premature to entertain this writ petition. The petitioner has a remedy of an appeal, if the order in the said proceedings goes against him.
