Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. Issue notice to the respondents. The learned Addl. G.P. waives service of notice for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3.

The petitioner has a grievance that he has placed the documents of sale deed for registration before the respondent No. 3 on 21.08.2024. However, he has been orally informed that he would not register the document. The Sub Registrar has the power to reject the registration, however, he has to take a conscious decision and communicate it to the person presenting the documents for registration.

In view thereof, we dispose of this writ petition by directing

2 wp 14130.24 the respondent No. 3 to take a conscious decision on the registration of the documents and communicate it to the petitioner within two (02) weeks from today.
