CORAM

: RAVINDRA V. GHUGE & Y. G. KHOBRAGADE, JJ.

DATE : 15th January, 2024 ORDER:

1.

As a Writ Court, we would loathe to entertain a Petition wherein the process of the Court is used for recovering unpaid bills of private contractors. However, the learned Advocate for the Zilla Parishad submits that there is no issue as regards the bills of the Petitioner. The District Planning Commission has to verify the same and the work done, and has to issue a 'no dues' certificate. Thereafter, when the funds are generated, the amount of the Petitioner, to the extent it is undisputed, shall be cleared.

2.

In view of the above statement made to the Court, this Petition is disposed off.

3.

We would appreciate, if the undisputed amounts are cleared on or before 31st March, 2024.
