The learned Counsel appearing for the State Election Commission has placed on record copy of the communication dated 05th December 2025 by to the Registrar (Judl.) of the High Court Bombay to Registrar (Judl.) of Benches of Nagpur and Aurangabad wherein it is notified that, 'to transfer all petitions, pending a well as being filed relating to forthcoming Elections to Zilla Parishad, Municipal Corporation, Nagar Parishad, Nagar Panchayat, Panchayat Samiti etc notified in 2025 in the State of Maharashtra from all the benches to the Principal Seat at Bombay and to place before the Division bench presided over by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice'.

The learned Counsel for the State Election Commission submits that all petitions and applications, even pertaining to Single Bench at Nagpur, Aurangabad, Kolhapur are directed to be transferred to the Principal Seat at Bombay and to place before the Division Bench presided over by the Hon'ble the Chief Justice.

The learned Counsel for the applicants in REVIEW APPLICATION (CIVIL) NO. 282 OF 2025 IN WP/14178/2025 and REVIEW APPLICATION (CIVIL) NO. 287 OF 2025 IN WP/14246/2025 submits that both these are the review applications, since these review applications also arises out of the Writ Petitions pertaining to forthcoming elections of Municipal Council, the 3 of
applicants/ petitioners also at liberty to take appropriate orders from the Hon'ble the Chief Justice.

Considering the statement made by the learned Counsel appearing for the State Election Commission and in view of the communication dated 05th December 2025 as noted above, all the Writ Petitions and Review Applications pertaining to subject matter of forthcoming elections as mentioned above, would stand released from the Board of this Court. The learned Counsel appearing for the parties is granted liberty to take up the matter before the appropriate Court.
