Heard learned Advocate for the Petitioner and learned AGP. None appears for the Head Master inspite of service of notice. 2.

By way of this Petition, the Petitioner prays for a direction to the Head Master/Respondent No. 6 to consider his application for correction of the entry in the school record as regards his caste. It is his case that his caste is wrongly shown as 'Maratha'. However, he belongs to 'Nirali' caste.

Learned Advocate for Petitioner relies upon Full Bench judgment of this Court in Writ Petition No. 8085/2017 wherein this Court has held that obvious mistakes can be corrected and there
