Application tendered by petitioners seeking recovery of compensation has been decided by the Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition) on 06.09.2016 and the amount payable to the petitioners-claimants has been determined. Although the amount is determined and has been directed to be paid, according to petitioners, respondent no. 4 has not yet made payment of the amount to the petitioners.

In the circumstances, we directed respondent no. 4 to make payment to petitioners and others in terms of the order passed by the Deputy Collector on 06.09.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today.
