Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.P. appearing for the State. Learned A.G.P. tendered across the bar copy of Government Resolution dated 19.12.2018, issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra. The same is taken on record. Relying upon the contentions of the provisions of said Government Resolution, learned A.G.P. submits that, the candidates from the reserved category can compete from the open category. In that view of the matter, the grievance of the

Writ Petition No.14073/2018 (( 2 )) petitioner stands satisfied. Hence, the petition stands disposed of. 2.

Needless to observe that, since the State Government has taken decision, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission shall follow the said Government Resolution and allow the petitioner to compete from the open category.
