Heard. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that proposal for grant of difference of salary dated 2nd September, 2016 for Rs.5,60,000/- and dated 19th October, 2016 for Rs.6,72,214/- is forwarded by respondent No.5 to respondent No.3. Respondent No.3 is forwarded it to respondent No.2, who is ultimate authority to take decision on the said proposal. Without entering upon merits of said proposal, we direct respondent No.2 to take decision on said proposal as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of eight (8) weeks from today.

With the above observations, writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
