In this First Appeal filed by the acquiring body, the respondent - claimants intend to prefer X-objections but a delay has occasioned in filing these X-objections. By way of these applications, the original claimants are now seeking condonation of delay in filing the X-objections. 3.

The applicants - claimants having lost their right to property are entitled to a fair compensation determined at the hands of this Court. It cannot be allowed to be defeated for the technical reasons. The acquiring body has also preferred appeal and it would be just and proper to allow the applications.

For the reasons mentioned in the applications, the applications are
