Learned A.G.P. submits that the petitioner can approach before the Commissioner under the provisions of the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and the Commissioner is functioning.

In the light of above, we are not entering into the merits of the contentions of either of the parties. Writ petition is disposed with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies before the Commissioner under the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. 3.

If the petitioner approaches the forum under the Act, 2016, then all contention of the respective 1/2

parties are kept open. The Forum shall also consider the time consumed in prosecuting this petition and shall endeavour to decide the proceedings expeditiously.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
